Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Lay out two slices of sourdough bread. Grate the dill Havarti cheese and set aside. Chop and pat dry the dill pickles.
  2. Assemble the Sandwich: On one slice, sprinkle half the grated cheese, distribute the pickles, and top with remaining cheese. Place second slice on top.
  3. Butter the Bread: Spread salted butter on outside of both slices for a golden crust.
  4. Heat the Skillet: Preheat over medium-low heat for 2-3 minutes. Place the sandwich in the skillet.
  5. Grill to Perfection: Cook for 3-5 minutes on one side, then flip and grill the other side for another 3-5 minutes until golden.
