Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness and cut into strips approximately 1 inch wide.
  3. Shape each strip into finger-like forms and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Press an almond or pumpkin seed into one end of each strip to represent the nail.
  5. Brush the dough with the beaten egg wash for a golden finish.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Keep an eye on them!
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes and optionally brush the tips with red food coloring before serving.
