- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the unsalted butter and brown sugar. Heat over medium until boiling for 3–5 minutes.
- Pour the bubbling mixture evenly over the arranged saltine crackers and bake for 5–7 minutes.
- Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over the hot toffee and allow to melt for about 5 minutes.
- Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the melted chocolate.
- Dust a pinch of sea salt over the chocolate layer right after sprinkling the sugar-cinnamon mix.
- Let the toffee cool for about 30 minutes, then break into pieces.
