- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease your baking sheet with cooking spray or olive oil.
- Clean the mushrooms under cool running water and remove the stems. Finely chop the stems for the filling.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chopped mushroom stems with cream cheese, sausage or bacon, Parmesan, garlic, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
- Fill each mushroom cap with the mixture, pressing lightly to ensure it stays in place.
- Place the stuffed mushrooms on the baking sheet and gently press a small olive into the center of each.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until mushrooms are tender and filling is golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving on a platter.
