  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Can substitute with Monterey Jack.
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Can replace with sour cream.
  • 2 teaspoons Smoked Paprika For that smoky depth.
  • to taste Spices (various) Season to personal preference.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Finely dice the jalapenos, removing seeds if desired, and set aside.
  3. Shred cheddar cheese and soften cream cheese at room temperature.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, and egg. Add jalapenos, cheddar, cream cheese, and spices.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Bake for about 45 minutes until the center reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
