- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry.
- Mix together the seasonings and apply generously to both sides of the ribs.
- Pour half of the barbecue sauce into the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Place the seasoned ribs upright in the slow cooker.
- Mix remaining sauce with apple cider vinegar and brown sugar, then pour over ribs.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.
- Carefully remove ribs and broil for a few minutes if desired.
