  • 1/2 cup Water adjust sauce consistency
  • 1/2 cup Soy Sauce low-sodium recommended
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar coconut sugar or honey are alternatives
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger (minced) fresh preferred
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced) fresh is best
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil can substitute with peanut oil
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 2 tablespoons Gochujang reduce for milder
For the Noodles
  • 12 ounces Noodles (udon or ramen) fresh or dried
For Garnishing
  • 1 bunch Green Onions chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds optional
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro chopped, optional

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Start by seasoning the beef chuck with freshly ground black pepper. Set it aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, and gochujang until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Place the seasoned beef chuck into the slow cooker and pour the prepared sauce over the top, ensuring beef is submerged.
  4. Cover and let the beef cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until fork-tender.
  5. About 15-20 minutes before serving, cook the noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  6. Once the beef is tender, gently mix in the cooked noodles into the slow cooker with the beef and sauce.
  7. Dish out the Korean Beef Noodles into bowls and garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro.
