Step-by-Step Instructions for Ground Beef Lettuce Wraps
  1. In a measuring cup, whisk together 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, 1/4 cup coconut aminos, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil, and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Stir in 1 teaspoon of arrowroot powder and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet, add 1 pound of ground beef and sauté for about 5 minutes until browned.
  3. Stir in 3 cloves of minced garlic and 1 tablespoon of grated ginger, cooking for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Mix in 1 diced red bell pepper and 1 cup of shredded carrots, sauté for 3-4 minutes.
