- Season the boneless, skinless chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and swirl to coat. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and 165°F internal temperature. Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add sliced apples and sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
- Pour in maple syrup, chicken broth, and sprinkle cinnamon. Cook for about 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Return cooked chicken to the skillet, nestling among the sautéed apples and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
