For the Toppings
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese or your favorite cheese
  • 1/2 cup Red Onions diced

  • 1 cup Pickles sliced

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Skillet
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Baking sheet

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven according to the tater tots package instructions, typically around 425°F (220°C). Spread the tater tots on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Flip them halfway through for even cooking.
  2. While the tater tots are baking, combine light mayo, ketchup, Dijon mustard, pickle juice, Cajun seasoning, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Whisk until smooth. Taste and adjust as needed.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef, seasoning with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper for 6–8 minutes until browned. Add Worcestershire sauce halfway through. Drain excess grease.
  4. While the beef cooks, prep your toppings: dice red onions, chop tomatoes, shred lettuce, and slice pickles. Keep ingredients separate for customization.
  5. To assemble, start layering crispy tater tots at the bottom of each bowl. Add seasoned ground beef, followed by toppings like cheese, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles. Drizzle with special sauce.
