Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add flat rice noodles, and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 6-8 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  3. Add minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Introduce your protein of choice to the skillet and stir-fry until cooked through: 3-5 minutes for chicken, 2-3 minutes for shrimp.
  5. Add diced vegetables to the skillet and stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes until vibrant and crisp-tender.
  6. Add cooked noodles back to the skillet, followed by soy sauce and sugar. Toss everything together over high heat for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Drizzle lime juice over the noodles before serving, tossing to combine and adjusting flavors as needed.
