- Incorporate marinara sauce, crumbled crispy bacon, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, and season with salt and pepper.
- Simmer the meat sauce for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Make the Parmesan Garlic Béchamel
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt unsalted butter.
- Whisk in all-purpose flour, cooking for 1-2 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Gradually pour in whole milk, whisking continuously until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat, stir in grated Parmesan cheese and garlic powder, and season with salt and pepper.
Assemble the Lasagna
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and gather a baking dish.
- Spoon a layer of meat sauce into the bottom of the dish.
- Place 3 cooked lasagna noodles over the meat sauce, followed by a layer of béchamel, and sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar.
- Repeat layering, finishing with another layer of meat sauce and top with remaining cheese.
Bake and Rest
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes, or until top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
