Preparation
- Thaw the frozen peas at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes or rinse under cool water for 1-2 minutes.
- In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth.
- In a large bowl, fold together peas, cheddar, red onion, hard-boiled eggs, and bacon bits.
- Pour dressing over the pea mixture and fold until coated.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Before serving, garnish with fresh dill or parsley.
