Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Bain-Marie by boiling ½ cup of water in a small pot and placing a large heatproof bowl over it.
  2. In the heatproof bowl, combine unsalted butter and marshmallows, whisking continuously for about 2-4 minutes until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in salt and red food coloring, mixing well.
  4. In a separate bowl, pour in Rice Bubbles, then quickly add the warm marshmallow mixture and coat thoroughly.
  5. Lightly oil hands and shape the mixture into oval forms resembling brains, pressing down in the center.
  6. Use a toothpick dipped in red food coloring to create veins on each brain shape.
  7. Allow to cool completely, then store in an airtight container for up to one week.
