Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the green cabbage into eight wedges, leaving the core intact.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, then sear the cabbage wedges for 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Add butter and thinly sliced red onion, sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  5. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Pour in chicken broth to deglaze, then add cream cheese and stir until melted.
  7. Mix in heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, and dried herbs, then simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  8. Incorporate Parmesan cheese into the sauce, then return the cabbage to the skillet.
  9. Cover and bake for 45 minutes, then remove the cover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  10. Let rest for 5 minutes, then garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
