- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped broccoli and cook for about 4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Transfer broccoli to a bowl and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in heavy whipping cream and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Incorporate grated Parmesan cheese and one-third of shredded mozzarella into the cream mixture. Stir until cheeses melt completely. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Return sautéed broccoli and cooked chicken to the skillet. Mix together until fully coated in the cheese sauce.
- Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top. Broil for 2 to 5 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown.
