Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together 3 cups of all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of yeast, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt until well blended.
- Pour in 1 cup of warm water and 2 tablespoons of olive oil into the dry ingredients. Mix with a wooden spoon until a sticky dough begins to form.
- Transfer the sticky dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes by hand, or use a stand mixer with a dough hook for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough into a lightly greased bowl, covering it with a damp towel. Allow it to rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
- Grease a rectangular baking tray with olive oil. After the dough has risen, gently punch it down and spread it out into the tray.
- Take your favorite jam and drop spoonfuls into the dimples made on your dough. Let it rest for an additional 20 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Once preheated, bake the focaccia for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove the focaccia from the oven and brush it with melted butter while still warm. Sprinkle a generous amount of cinnamon sugar on top.

Notes
Ensure to knead well for perfect texture. Allow to cool slightly before slicing to maintain structure.
