  • 1 lb Ground Beef (or Ground Turkey) Main protein source; swap for ground turkey for a leaner meal.
  • 3 medium Potatoes Diced.
  • 1 small Onion Diced.
  • 1 medium Bell Pepper Diced.
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil For cooking.
Flavoring
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce For moisture and flavor.
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Or fresh garlic.
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
Finish
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Can substitute with other cheese types.
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Green Onions Optional garnish.

Instructions
  1. Wash and dice the potatoes, onion, and bell pepper. Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add diced potatoes, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Push potatoes to the side and add onion and bell pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened.
  4. Add ground beef or turkey, breaking it up while cooking for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  5. Stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and tomato sauce; simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle cheese over the mixture, cover, and cook for 1-2 minutes until cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from heat, garnish with green onions, and serve warm.
