Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add thinly sliced onions and green bell peppers to the skillet. Sauté for 3-5 minutes until tender.
  3. Push veggies to one side. Add ground beef, breaking it apart. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder, add Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir well and heat for another 2 minutes.
  5. Reduce heat, layer provolone cheese over mixture, cover the skillet, and cook for 2-3 minutes until melted.
  6. Slice hoagie rolls lengthwise, creating a pocket for filling. Arrange on a baking sheet.
  7. Using a spoon, fill rolls with the beef and vegetable mixture.
  8. Toast filled rolls in the oven for a few minutes if desired, and serve hot.
