  • 1 lb Chicken thighs or chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil or neutral oil
  • 1 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce
  • 1 cup Yogurt or plant-based yogurt
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice fresh is best
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp Salt to taste
For Serving
  • 4 pieces Pita bread or wraps gluten-free options available

Method
 

Chicken Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine chicken thighs with olive oil, cumin, paprika, and cinnamon. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Place marinated chicken on a baking sheet or grill pan and cook for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. After cooking, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin stripes.
Garlic Sauce Preparation
  1. In a separate bowl, mix together yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt until smooth.
Assembly
  1. Layer sliced chicken onto pita or wraps and drizzle with the creamy garlic sauce. Add any preferred toppings.
