  • 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix Follow the box instructions for best results.
  • 12 cups Reese's Miniature Cups Regular-sized Reese's cups can be used as a substitute.
For the Frosting
  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter Softened and at room temperature.
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter Star ingredient for frosting.
  • 2 cups Confectioners’ Sugar Sift for an even texture.
  • 3 tablespoons Milk Use as needed to adjust frosting consistency.

Method
 

Cupcake Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper cupcake liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, prepare the chocolate cake batter according to box instructions.
  3. Fill each cupcake liner halfway with batter and place a Reese's miniature cup in the center.
  4. Bake for approximately 16 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool the cupcakes in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  6. In a bowl, cream together the softened butter and peanut butter until light and fluffy.
  7. Gradually mix in the confectioners’ sugar and adjust with milk until smooth and spreadable.
  8. Once cool, frost the cupcakes and garnish with chopped Reese's mini cups if desired.
