Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, pineapple juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Sear the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add garlic and ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the prepared sauce mixture and stir to combine, letting it meld with garlic and ginger.
  5. Simmer the sauce for 1-2 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  6. Return the seared shrimp to the skillet and toss gently in the sauce for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Stir in the chopped pineapple and cook for another minute.
  8. Drizzle sesame oil over the shrimp and stir to combine.
  9. Just before serving, mix in lime juice and cilantro.
  10. Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with green onions, and serve while hot.
