Step-by-Step Instructions for Gordon Ramsay Meatloaf
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent (about 5 minutes). Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, beaten eggs, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Fold in the cooled onion and garlic mixture.
  4. Transfer the meat mixture into the loaf pan, pressing down to form a solid loaf. Smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for about 45 minutes, until browned and firm.
  5. Prepare the glaze by mixing ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and smoked paprika. After 45 minutes, spread the glaze on the meatloaf.
  6. Return the meatloaf to the oven and bake for an additional 15 to 20 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
