Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8x8-inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together gluten-free flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
- Incorporate softened butter into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press the crumbly dough evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 14-16 minutes.
- While the crust bakes, beat eggs until fluffy in another mixing bowl.
- Stir in maple syrup, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and chopped pecans until combined.
- Once the crust is done, pour the pecan filling evenly over the hot crust.
- Return the pan to the oven and lower the temperature to 325°F (160°C) for an additional 40-45 minutes.
- Remove the bars from the oven once the filling is set and cool completely in the pan at room temperature.
- Run a knife along the edges to loosen, then cut into squares or rectangles.

Notes
Allow the bars to cool completely for clean cuts and better texture. Customize by using different nuts if desired.
