Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine approximately one cup of white chocolate chips and two tablespoons of vegetable shortening. Microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth and glossy.
  2. Dip the bottom of a large marshmallow into the melted chocolate to create a sticky base. Stack two more marshmallows on top, adhering each with chocolate and chill for 10 minutes.
  3. Coat the entire marshmallow tower with remaining melted white chocolate, ensuring full coverage, and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  4. While the chocolate coating is wet, press candy eyes onto the front of your marshmallow. Allow to harden completely for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Lightly dust with powdered sugar and use the edible marker to draw a smile on each marshmallow.
