- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine approximately one cup of white chocolate chips and two tablespoons of vegetable shortening. Microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth and glossy.
- Dip the bottom of a large marshmallow into the melted chocolate to create a sticky base. Stack two more marshmallows on top, adhering each with chocolate and chill for 10 minutes.
- Coat the entire marshmallow tower with remaining melted white chocolate, ensuring full coverage, and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- While the chocolate coating is wet, press candy eyes onto the front of your marshmallow. Allow to harden completely for 10-15 minutes.
- Lightly dust with powdered sugar and use the edible marker to draw a smile on each marshmallow.
