Method
 

Filling Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine fresh or frozen strawberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes until thickened.
  2. Remove from heat, blend until smooth, and cool completely before using.
Dough Preparation
  1. In a stand mixer, whisk all-purpose flour, sugar, salt, and instant dry yeast together.
  2. Add warm milk, softened butter, and egg. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and slightly sticky.
First Rise
  1. Transfer kneaded dough to a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for 2 hours until doubled.
Rolling the Dough
  1. Punch down the risen dough, then roll it into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
  2. Spread the cooled strawberry filling over the dough, then roll tightly from one long edge and cut into 12 pieces.
Second Rise
  1. Arrange cut rolls in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for 30–60 minutes until puffy.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
Baking
  1. Bake the rolls for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
