Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook for about 8–10 minutes, until crispy. Remove and drain excess fat.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over low heat, stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder for 1 minute until well combined.
  4. If using canned green beans, drain and rinse. If using fresh, trim and blanch in boiling water for 3–4 minutes.
  5. Combine drained green beans with bacon, pour the glaze over, and toss to coat evenly.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes until tender and glaze is bubbling.
  7. Switch to broil and cook for an additional 3 minutes until crisp.
  8. Remove from oven, stir gently, and serve warm.
