- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bacon and cook for about 8–10 minutes, until crispy. Remove and drain excess fat.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over low heat, stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic powder for 1 minute until well combined.
- If using canned green beans, drain and rinse. If using fresh, trim and blanch in boiling water for 3–4 minutes.
- Combine drained green beans with bacon, pour the glaze over, and toss to coat evenly.
- Bake for about 30 minutes until tender and glaze is bubbling.
- Switch to broil and cook for an additional 3 minutes until crisp.
- Remove from oven, stir gently, and serve warm.
