Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a bowl, combine flank steak with soy sauce, minced garlic, and chopped fresh herbs. Allow the steak to marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- While the steak marinates, wash and cut Yukon Gold potatoes into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the prepared potatoes to the skillet, spreading them out in a single layer. Sauté them for about 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they turn golden brown and fork-tender.
- Once the potatoes are nearly done, push them to the side of the skillet and increase the heat to medium-high. Add the marinated flank steak to the pan, searing for 3–4 minutes on each side.
- After searing, reduce the heat back to medium and mix the potatoes and steak together in the skillet. Pour any remaining marinade over the top and stir gently.
- Cook for an additional minute, allowing the flavors to meld beautifully. Serve this delightful Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes hot for a satisfying meal.
