  • ½ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt for a lighter alternative
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning or thyme, sage, and rosemary
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives or green onions
  • 1 leaf green leaf lettuce or romaine
  • 4 ounces sliced leftover turkey any cooked turkey
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry sauce or whipped cream cheese for a twist

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, poultry seasoning, chopped chives, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended and let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Spread a layer of the herbed mayo on each slice of bread.
  3. Layer one slice with sliced turkey, crisp lettuce, and cranberry sauce.
  4. Top with the other slice of bread, mayo side down, and press gently.
  5. Slice the sandwich in half diagonally and serve immediately.
