- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out your pizza dough to about ¼-inch thickness and cut into 6 to 8 circles.
- Carve faces into half of the dough circles to create Jack-O’-Lantern faces.
- On uncarved circles, spoon in pizza sauce, sprinkle mozzarella, and add preferred toppings.
- Place face-cut dough over filled circles, pressing edges to seal and crimp with a fork.
- Brush the tops of each calzone with egg wash for a shiny finish.
- Bake calzones in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
- Let calzones cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.
