  • 6 slices Large Deli Pepperoni Turkey pepperoni is a lighter alternative
  • 4 slices Large Deli Salami Opt for prosciutto for a decadent twist
  • 4 slices Smoked Gouda Feel free to substitute with cheddar or mozzarella
For the Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be a lighter alternative
  • 3 tablespoons Sliced Pepperoncini Peppers Leave out for a milder flavor

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and sliced pepperoncini peppers, mixing thoroughly with a spoon. Set this aside for later.
  2. Lay out a 12-inch square of wax paper on a clean, flat surface for assembly.
  3. Take 2-3 iceberg lettuce leaves and arrange them slightly overlapping in the center of the wax paper.
  4. Place slices of smoked gouda cheese evenly on top of the lettuce leaves.
  5. Spoon the prepared pepperoncini mayonnaise over the gouda, followed by layering the large deli salami and pepperoni.
  6. Using the wax paper, carefully lift the edge closest to you and begin rolling the lettuce tightly around the fillings.
  7. Once wrapped, slice the Italian Lettuce Wrap down the center with a sharp knife and serve immediately.
