- In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and sliced pepperoncini peppers, mixing thoroughly with a spoon. Set this aside for later.
- Lay out a 12-inch square of wax paper on a clean, flat surface for assembly.
- Take 2-3 iceberg lettuce leaves and arrange them slightly overlapping in the center of the wax paper.
- Place slices of smoked gouda cheese evenly on top of the lettuce leaves.
- Spoon the prepared pepperoncini mayonnaise over the gouda, followed by layering the large deli salami and pepperoni.
- Using the wax paper, carefully lift the edge closest to you and begin rolling the lettuce tightly around the fillings.
- Once wrapped, slice the Italian Lettuce Wrap down the center with a sharp knife and serve immediately.
