- Heat the Oil: Place a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of neutral oil and allow to heat for 1-2 minutes until shimmering.
- Brown the Turkey: Add ground turkey to the skillet. Cook for 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and no longer pink.
- Sauté the Garlic: Reduce heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Whisk the Sauce: In a bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until well incorporated.
- Combine Turkey and Sauce: Pour the sauce over the browned turkey. Stir and simmer for 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Finish with Green Onions: Stir in most of the sliced green onions, reserving some for garnish. Remove from heat.
- Serve: Spoon the turkey mixture over rice, noodles, or in lettuce cups. Garnish with remaining green onions.
