Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and melt ½ cup of unsalted butter in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, ½ cup of granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and ¼ teaspoon of salt. Whisk them together, then stir in 1 cup of whole milk until smooth.
  3. Pour the prepared batter over the melted butter in the baking dish—do not stir!
