Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy and golden, about 4-6 minutes. Transfer to paper towel-lined plate.
  2. In the same skillet, add butter, crack large eggs, season, and cook until whites are set, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Toast slices of whole grain bread until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes in the toaster.
  4. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each toasted slice.
  5. On the first slice, layer lettuce, tomato, and bacon. Press gently.
  6. On the second slice, spread mashed avocado on the mayo-free side.
  7. Carefully place the cooked eggs on the avocado layer, then sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  8. Assemble by placing the final slice over the layers, pressing gently.
  9. Secure with toothpicks and slice to serve.
