- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream or mayonnaise, dill, and kosher salt. Whisk until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes.
- Spread the creamy dill mixture onto one side of each slice of bread evenly, covering the edges.
- Rinse the cucumber and slice thinly, about 1/8 inch thick. Lay cucumber slices on half of the spread-covered bread, overlapping them slightly.
- Place the other slices of bread spread side down on top of the cucumbers and gently press to combine the layers.
- Trim off the crusts with a serrated knife and cut each sandwich into smaller shapes for serving.
