Preparation Steps
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then toss in a large bowl with baking powder, cornstarch, garlic powder, ginger powder, onion powder, salt, white pepper, cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika. Marinate for 20-30 minutes.
- Drizzle the wings with olive oil and toss to coat evenly. Preheat your oven to 210°C (410°F).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the seasoned wings on the rack in a single layer.
- Bake the wings for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
- In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and stir in honey, sriracha, crushed red pepper, and sea salt. Simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Baste the wings with hot honey sauce and broil on high for 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
- Toss the wings in remaining hot honey sauce before serving. Garnish with crushed red pepper if desired.
