Ingredients
  

For the Wings
  • 2 pounds Chicken Wings Mix of drums and flats
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch (Cornflour)
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon White Pepper Can be replaced with black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper Adjust according to spice preference
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil For coating
For the Hot Honey Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Honey Key sweetener
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha Sauce Adjust to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Crushed Red Pepper Optional garnish
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels, then toss in a large bowl with baking powder, cornstarch, garlic powder, ginger powder, onion powder, salt, white pepper, cayenne pepper, and smoked paprika. Marinate for 20-30 minutes.
  2. Drizzle the wings with olive oil and toss to coat evenly. Preheat your oven to 210°C (410°F).
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the seasoned wings on the rack in a single layer.
  4. Bake the wings for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown and crispy.
  5. In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and stir in honey, sriracha, crushed red pepper, and sea salt. Simmer for a couple of minutes.
  6. Baste the wings with hot honey sauce and broil on high for 2-3 minutes for extra crispiness.
  7. Toss the wings in remaining hot honey sauce before serving. Garnish with crushed red pepper if desired.
