Step-By-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked shredded chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream. Stir well until smooth.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Stir thoroughly to distribute spices.
  3. Lay one flour tortilla flat. Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of filling onto the lower third. Roll tightly from bottom to top.
  4. Pour vegetable oil into a deep skillet and heat over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F to 375°F.
  5. Carefully place taquitos seam-side down in hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with toppings.
