Ingredients
  

For the Dough
  • 2 cups Glutinous rice flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
For the Filling
  • 1 cup Red bean paste Sweetened
  • 1/4 cup Sesame seeds For coating
For Frying
  • 4 cups Vegetable oil For frying

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, sugar, and salt. Gradually add water, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
  2. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Form the Balls
  1. Divide the dough into small balls. Flatten each ball in your hand, place a teaspoon of red bean paste in the center, and wrap the dough around it to form a ball.
  2. Roll each ball in sesame seeds to coat evenly.
Fry the Balls
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Carefully drop the sesame balls into the hot oil, frying them in batches until golden brown and floating, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove with a spatula and drain on paper towels.
Serve
  1. Let the sesame balls cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm as a delightful snack!
