Prepare the Dough
- In a large mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, sugar, and salt. Gradually add water, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Form the Balls
- Divide the dough into small balls. Flatten each ball in your hand, place a teaspoon of red bean paste in the center, and wrap the dough around it to form a ball.
- Roll each ball in sesame seeds to coat evenly.
Fry the Balls
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully drop the sesame balls into the hot oil, frying them in batches until golden brown and floating, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove with a spatula and drain on paper towels.
Serve
- Let the sesame balls cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm as a delightful snack!
