Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Lightly coat with flour.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes each side until golden brown.
  3. Reduce heat and add butter. Sauté mushrooms and onion for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and translucent.
  4. Stir in mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic. Cook for another minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and scrape the bottom of the pan. Return chicken to skillet and simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat to low and mix in sour cream until well blended and heated through. Taste and adjust seasoning.
