  • 2 tbsp Sour Cream or Mayonnaise Greek yogurt is a lighter alternative.
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Dill Can substitute with chives or parsley.
  • 1 tsp Kosher Salt Adjust if using table salt.
For the Sandwiches
  • 1 large English Cucumber Thinly sliced.
  • 8 slices White Sandwich Bread Whole wheat is a healthier substitute.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the whipped cream cheese, sour cream or mayonnaise, chopped fresh dill, and kosher salt. Mix until smooth.
  2. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture onto one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Thinly slice the cucumber into 1/8-inch rounds and arrange on a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  4. Place sliced cucumbers on half of the prepared bread slices, slightly overlapping them.
  5. Top with the remaining bread slices, spread side down, and gently press to secure.
  6. Trim off crusts of the assembled sandwiches and cut into rectangular or triangular shapes.
  7. Arrange the sandwiches on a serving plate and garnish with extra dill or cucumber slices.
