Step-by-Step Instructions

  3. Pour the hot toffee mixture over the saltines and spread evenly with a spatula.
  4. Bake the mixture for 5-6 minutes until bubbles form across the toffee surface.
  5. Immediately sprinkle a mixture of granulated sugar and ground cinnamon over the hot toffee layer.
  6. Cool at room temperature for 10 minutes, then transfer to refrigerator and chill for 1-2 hours.
  7. Break into squares or rectangles and drizzle with white chocolate or cream cheese frosting if desired.
