- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cut the pizza dough into 14 equal pieces and roll each piece into an 8-inch strip.
- Place half a slice of American cheese and a thawed mini meatball at one end of each dough strip. Wrap and seal tightly.
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, then add ¼ cup of baking soda, stirring until dissolved.
- Boil each bomb in batches for 20–30 seconds, turning halfway until slightly puffed.
- Remove boiled bombs and place them on the baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sea salt.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown, then remove from oven.
- Allow to cool for a few moments before serving warm with yellow mustard or dipping sauce.
