  • ¼ cup Baking soda For boiling bath
  • 4 cups Water For boiling bath

  • 14 pieces Mini meatballs Fully thawed
  • 7 slices American cheese Can substitute with cheddar
For the Topping
  • to taste Coarse sea salt For sprinkling
  • to taste Yellow mustard Optional for dipping

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the pizza dough into 14 equal pieces and roll each piece into an 8-inch strip.
  3. Place half a slice of American cheese and a thawed mini meatball at one end of each dough strip. Wrap and seal tightly.
  4. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil, then add ¼ cup of baking soda, stirring until dissolved.
  5. Boil each bomb in batches for 20–30 seconds, turning halfway until slightly puffed.
  6. Remove boiled bombs and place them on the baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sea salt.
  7. Bake for 15–20 minutes until golden brown, then remove from oven.
  8. Allow to cool for a few moments before serving warm with yellow mustard or dipping sauce.
