Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a baking pan.
- In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Fold in chopped apples and caramel sauce. Pour filling over crust in the baking pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until set and lightly golden. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Cut into bars and drizzle with additional caramel sauce before serving.
