  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch
  • 1 cup Additional Blueberries

Step‑By‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the French bread into 1-inch cubes and arrange them in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, half and half, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread cubes and gently stir to coat.
  5. Dollop softened cream cheese over the top of the mixture and sprinkle with blueberries.
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Remove plastic wrap and bake the casserole for 45-50 minutes until golden brown and set.
  8. Prepare the sauce by heating water, sugar, and cornstarch until thickened, then add blueberries.
