  • 1 large Egg omit for vegan option or substitute with flaxseed egg
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder fresh garlic can be used instead
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder diced fresh onion works well too

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, shredded cheddar cheese, ¼ cup of BBQ sauce, milk, beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Mix until combined, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Transfer the mixture onto a clean surface and shape it into a loaf, roughly 9x5 inches. Place the formed loaf into the prepared loaf pan.
  4. Spread a generous layer of BBQ sauce over the top of the prepared meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C) and the top is caramelized.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice the meatloaf into thick pieces and serve warm.
