- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a loaf pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, shredded cheddar cheese, ¼ cup of BBQ sauce, milk, beaten egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper. Mix until combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Transfer the mixture onto a clean surface and shape it into a loaf, roughly 9x5 inches. Place the formed loaf into the prepared loaf pan.
- Spread a generous layer of BBQ sauce over the top of the prepared meatloaf.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C) and the top is caramelized.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
- Slice the meatloaf into thick pieces and serve warm.
