Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare your baking dish—an 8x8 inch or similar size works well.
- In a small saucepan over low heat, melt 4 tablespoons of butter until fully liquefied. Add 2 tablespoons of honey, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, 2 cloves of minced garlic, and the juice of half a lemon. Stir until well combined and glossy. Remove from heat.
- Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels. Place it in your baking dish and season with salt and pepper. Coat the salmon with the honey mustard glaze, allowing it to soak in.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the glaze becomes caramelized.
- Remove from oven, let it rest for a couple of minutes, then garnish with lemon slices and fresh herbs. Serve alongside your favorite sides.

Notes
Ensure to pat the salmon dry before applying the glaze for better adherence. Start checking for doneness at the 12-minute mark.
